Disaster response and emergency relief student initiative

Together Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M) is a disaster response and emergency relief student initiative.  Established in 2015 by DAIS student Aditi Raheja and her 5 friends, T.E.A.M has now grown to a group of over 11 members across 10 different schools and 4 countries. With a shared spirit of inclusiveness, every member of the team is driven by a desire to help, contribute and create impact.  T.E.A.M mobilizes a rapid and efficient response when disaster strikes, and is on the ground immediately while tackling an emergency. T.E.A.M’s short term aims include providing victims of disaster with water, food, clothing and shelter, while its long term goal is to help communities build self-sustaining solutions. To execute their strategies, T.E.A.M raises funds through word of mouth and on social media. From the Chennai floods in 2015 to the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020, T.E.A.M has acted promptly to respond to the immediate as well as long term needs of the affected people. T.E.A.M has completed over 10 projects, in which it has collected over Rs 1.6 cr ($240,00), impacted over 33,000 lives and recruited 100 volunteers.
